In celebration of Food Allergy Awareness Month, we hosted an exciting event at a Peel District School Board school, bringing the community together to promote allergy awareness and inclusivity. We were thrilled to welcome Kyle Dine, a renowned food allergy educator and musician, who engaged students with his fun and educational concert featuring songs about food allergies. His interactive performance not only entertained but also empowered children with valuable knowledge on allergy safety and advocacy.
We were also honored to be joined by School Board Trustee Jill Promoli, a dedicated advocate for student well-being and safety. Her presence reinforced the importance of fostering an inclusive school environment where all students, including those with food allergies, feel safe and supported.
This event was a fantastic step toward increasing awareness, promoting understanding, and encouraging meaningful conversations about food allergies in schools. We are grateful for the enthusiastic engagement of students and staff making this initiative a success!
